Sempra is an energy services holding firm dedicated to the development, management, and operation of essential energy infrastructure. The company also provides electric and natural gas utilities. Its operations are divided into several key divisions: Sempra California, Sempra Texas Utilities, Sempra Infrastructure, and a miscellaneous "All Other" category. Through its fully-owned subsidiaries, SDG&E and SoCalGas, the Sempra California segment delivers natural gas and electricity services to residences and businesses in Southern California and portions of the central region. The Sempra Texas Utilities division oversees the company's investment in Oncor Holdings. Meanwhile, the Sempra Infrastructure segment encompasses the operational components of its subsidiary, SI Partners, along with a holding company and various associated service companies. The enterprise was founded on October 11, 1996, and is headquartered in San Diego, California.
