The company's extensive product portfolio encompasses several key lines: FieldSmart: A range of physical infrastructure components such as panels, cabinets, and wall boxes, specifically designed for housing and protecting fiber optic connections. WaveSmart: Optical components critical for managing light signals, enabling functions like coupling, splitting, termination, multiplexing, demultiplexing, and attenuation when integrated into their fiber management systems. Solutions for outdoor network installations, including outdoor and fiber active cabinet products. StreetSmart: Various fiber management products tailored for network organization. FieldShield: An innovative method for fiber pathway and protection, aimed at streamlining and reducing the expense of broadband infrastructure rollout. YOURx platform: Comprising robust hardened terminals, test access points, and diverse drop cable options, this platform supports different fiber drop cable media for various segments of the access network. CraftSmart: A series of optical protection field enclosures, including pedestals and vaults, which provide optimized housing for FieldSmart products at the last mile access point, suitable for both above-grade and below-grade installations. Clearfield also offers fiber and copper assemblies, available in industry-standard or customer-specified configurations, along with bespoke solutions for in-the-box and network connectivity tailored to specific customer product lines. Clearfield's comprehensive "fiber to anywhere" platform serves a broad spectrum of clients, from incumbent and competitive local exchange carriers, wireless operators, and multiple systems operators/cable TV companies, to utility/municipality entities, enterprises, and data centers. The company, founded in 1979 and headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota, operated as APA Enterprises, Inc. before officially changing its name to Clearfield, Inc. in January 2008.
